Birthing Way Midwifery is a small home birth practice offering individualized prenatal, birth, and postpartum care to women in the Atlanta area. Rachel Hart and Beth Miller are the midwives.
Care with Autonomous Birth, a Private Membership Association, means working with an experienced midwife and consulting about: nutrition & lifestyle before pregnancy and after conception. It means laboring in freedom: freedom of movement, to eat and drink as you like, to push when and in whatever position feels comfortable to you. It means one-on-one support by someone who is educated and experienced in childbirth. It always includes privacy so you can focus, no vaginal exams during labor unless you request one.It also means that labor and pushing go as long as you chose and you and baby are doing fine. It includes consultation about appropriate medical interventions when necessary. It means you being in the driver’s seat, deciding where to go, how to get there, and who you want with you, with the freedom to change course/companions if you desire. It includes prenatal and postpartum pelvic floor training, assessment and rehab.
Most importantly, it includes accepting responsibility for your choices and their outcomes, intended or not. Respecting your autonomy while guarding your and baby's safety. Contact me and we can talk about your plans for your birthing.
Serving the Greater Alanta area!
